Thus, at a meeting with the Vice President of AstraZeneca, Kazakh representatives discussed the possibility of implementing a project to localize the production of original medicines and further expansion of cooperation. The company is already working on a project to localize the production of four original drugs in Kazakhstan. As part of the long-term agreement concluded in July this year, AstraZeneca intends to establish contract production and technology transfer in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan to ensure full compliance with the requirements of good manufacturing practice (GMP).

During the negotiations with Volvo Group, the parties discussed the possibility of building a technical and service center for the company in Kazakhstan. It is planned that the activities of the $7 million center will include gas stations and a training center for developing competencies. The Swedish multinational company Volvo Group is a concern that manufactures commercial vehicles, buses, engines, and other equipment. The company is present in more than 20 countries, and its products are represented in 190 countries worldwide. At a meeting with representatives of Solico Group, issues of construction of a $150 million French fries production plant in the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed. The investment project aims not only at the construction of an integrated plant for the production of French fries but also at the development of a farm for growing raw materials and a seed base for further import substitution of elite potato seeds.

The head of the S Sistem Lojistik company spoke about plans to construct and manage a logistics center in the Aktobe region. The total investment volume will be about $15 million. Currently, the company is negotiating the joint management of the facility with Kazpost JSC.
